# Quantum Beard

Quantum Beard helps organizations inspect AI systems that already exist in
the real world. The focus is not on hype, demos, or abstract strategy. The
focus is on whether a system is actually doing what it appears to be doing,
where failure patterns are forming, and what should be inspected next.

The site has three primary entry points:

- **The Diagnostic** — a structured intake that returns the likely class of
  failure in a described AI system, why it happens, and what to inspect.
  This is the live, interactive entry point.
- **About** — what this practice is, who runs it, and what the operator
  stake on AI accountability looks like.

## Docking Station (agent-facing service surface)

The Docking Station is where an organization's systems are assessed and served
for the machine-mediated market. v1 exposes one service. Honest state: agents
can **discover** this service and **route a principal** toward it; it is **not
machine-callable** yet (invocation is a human web intake), fulfillment is
human/Guild-delivered, and payment is in Stripe test mode.

## Practice posture

Quantum Beard treats AI systems as engineered artifacts that can drift,
miscalibrate, and silently degrade — the same way any complex system can.
The practice exists because the market is normalizing AI systems that sound
right, hide their reasoning, and leave humans holding responsibility without
actual control. The Diagnostic is the first surface where that posture
becomes operational for a visitor: name what feels off, receive a structured
read on what class of problem it likely is.
